Person Centered Care
Since 2019, I have been a mental health clinician in private practice. My approach centers on supporting individuals with unique needs, along with their caretakers, by advocating for best practices and inclusive education. I’m approved to conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments for habilitative programming with Nebraska’s service providers. Additionally, I am passionate about guiding people toward understanding and embracing their sexuality and authentic selves. I employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and use a strengths-based, humanistic approach. I believe every person has inherent good, and that our experiences shape the belief systems that guide our responses. My philosophy is grounded in living fully: cherishing memories over material things and focusing on connections with chosen family and friends. I’m motivated by the difference that compassionate, inclusive support can make. Outside of work, I spend time with my family, enjoy outdoor activities, and love to read and explore topics that deepen my practice.
